Celebrate the Belly and Baby Day...
It is a day when past participants visit with their new babies and where we celebrate the belly by doing casting. Postpartum moms bring their casts to the next celebration and paint them. It is becoming a tradition.

I loved my Birthing From Within Class with Sunshine! I was told on the last day that I seemed sad, a little down. I was - because the class was ending!
I really enjoyed how all the information was presented. I found myself learning while being entertained; always waiting for what was coming next.
Because my husband and I really enjoyed the class and because we connected with Sunshine, we decided to hire her to be our doula. I'm due in 3.5 weeks, so look for another post in the near future. :)

My little guy is now 2.5 wks old - he's just adorable!
During my pregnancy I was committed to doing whatever it took to have a gentle birth for my baby and a powerful experience for myself. I put together an awesome team of which Sunshine was apart of and my dream came true.
During the birth Sunshine was right there every time I needed her. She helped me remember what we learned in class. She also offered other positions and worked hard when I took her up on the rebozo! lol!
Sunshine's presence was calming, comforting and uplifting when I needed it to be. I will be recommending her services.
My husband and I loved our Birthing From Within class with Sunshine. We expect to take our birth paintings with us to our birth for support and we talk about all of the lessons we learned -- the labyrinth of birth, the pain management techniques, how hormones work, the sacrifices of parenthood -- all the time. We feel emotionally prepared for this experience, and we think that is most important. We're ready for the unexpected...
